He co-authored the book Healthcare Quality Management: A Case Study Approach. Eddie is an internationally known speaker on applications of Lean in Healthcare, Innovation, employee engagement, high-reliability and performance improvement. Eddie helps organizations implement Lean and Innovation programs through his consulting company: Areito Group. Eddie teaches Lean and Six Sigma certification courses at multiple universities and organizations around the world. He has implemented Continuous Improvement programs in healthcare, manufacturing, aerospace and nonprofits. He has worked with some of the biggest healthcare organizations in Florida. He has led kaizen and innovation workshops in the USA, Mexico and Puerto Rico. He is fully bilingual and a great communicator. Eddie held an appointment as Instructor of Health Care Systems Engineering for the College of Medicine at Mayo Clinic.
